Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Firmhold, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Firmhold is

Firmhold is a behavioral tracking tool. It helps you log events related to a personal habit, identify patterns, and reflect on your behavior over time. Firmhold is not a medical device, a therapy service, or a substitute for professional mental health treatment. If you are struggling with addiction or mental health, please seek professional support.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to use Firmhold.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • One account per person. Do not share accounts.

4. Subscription and payment

Firmhold offers a free tier and a paid Pro plan. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate displayed at checkout.

  • Founding member pricing is locked for the life of your subscription as long as it remains active.
  • You may cancel at any time. Your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of Firmhold.
  • Use the service to harm, harass, or deceive others.
  • Attempt to access other users' data.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service.

6. Your data

You own your data. We store it to provide the service. You can delete it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Limitation of liability

Firmhold is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about the accuracy of pattern analysis or the effectiveness of any intervention. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
